The Delivery Manager course is ideal for agile professionals, team leads, and managers responsible for delivering products/services where there is a need to drive improvement to meet customer expectations, reduce delivery time and improve predictability.

The course focuses of unblocking the challenges faced in managing the work and delivery of intangible goods, of which there are many. The new Delivery Manager course and credential enables managers to greatly improve the performance of delivery in their business. It provides the understanding and skills to create a Kanban System that increases product delivery for greater reliability and consistency.

The course can help you take your organization from Maturity Level 2 to Level 3 on the Kanban Maturity Model (KMM), with the role of the Delivery Manager improving the delivery predectibality, to deliver products/services quicker and more reliably. This improvement has a greater impact on the performance of an organization and enables it to scale-up beyond the team level.

The course follows the official KU Certified Kanban syllabus. During the two days, you will have ample opportunities to discuss and experience the following topics:

Prerequisites

  • The prerequisite for the Delivery Manager course is to have taken either the Flow Manager course or any of the Kanban Management Professional (KMP) classes. The KMP classes include Kanban System Design (KSD), Kanban for Systems Improvement (KSI) or Kanban for Design and Innovation (KDI). Please contact us if you are unsure about your eligibility.
  • All participants are provided trial access to the Better With Kanban+ (BWK+) platform.  BWK+ provides you access to David J Anderson’s Discovering Kanban, The Evolutionary Path to Enterprise Agility book (the updated “Blue Book”), as well as exclusive Kanban Method content, including case studies, articles, posters, and videos.
  • Prior to the training, it is recommended to read David J Anderson’s Discovering Kanban, The Evolutionary Path to Enterprise Agility book (the updated “Blue Book”) in BWK+
